About Terry

Band Nickname: Big Sug

Terry Dion, also known as Two Finger Terry (convenient because he also plays bass with two fingers...) also-also known as Terrytown, is the current bassist/harmony master of Smoove Series. Big Sug' grew up on the streets of New Orleans born to crayfish fisherman who traveled often. At a young age, Big Sug' tuned up his two fingers at Cafe du Monde, with the likes of Ben E. King and his replacement father-figure, B.B. King. Paid strictly in beignets (hence the nickname Big Sug'), Big Sug' found a way to get off the streets of New Orleans and settled in the likes of Connecticut. Although settled and with a family, Big Sug' still shows signs of his early life in The Big Easy.
